BETA TESTERS WANTED

Vortex is seeking beta testers for several new products which will be introduced in the near future.  Vortex knows the products work, we are just looking for additional feedback before formally launching them.  If you are interested, contact Vortex to test the following products:

Home Heating Technology  -- Estimated savings of 15-20% on home heating oil, natural gas or propane.  This is the same fuel saving technology utilized by the Vortex Fuel Saver for cars and trucks, although the product and installation are different.  There are no color brochures nor labels on the product, just simple instructions included with the product. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS INSTALLATION BE PERFORMED BY A QUALIFIED HVAC CONTRACTOR.

Vortex is willing to provide the product at a special price of $100 if you agree to provide feedback, email is fine, as to your experience with the product at the end of the winter season.  We are particularly interested in knowing your cost of installation, ease of use, estimate of savings, etc.Please specify oil, natural gas or propane.

Determining the actual savings can be difficult as to do it accurately would involve comparing Degree Days this year to last year to see if this winter is warmer or colder than last year.  Your utility bill would also have to be compared in gallons, therms/CCF, etc. rather than just dollars.  Calculating the degree days/comparing bills/etc. is an issue if you are trying to get an exact number for the savings. 

However, part of the installation is turning down the amount of fuel flowing to the burner (until you get the blue flame back), or putting in a smaller nozzle to reduce fuel flow.  Since the BTU output stays the same, it should not be difficult to realize there is savings taking place.

Air Conditioning/Refrigeration systems -- Estimated savings is 8 - 14% on air conditioning and refrigeration compressors' electrical usage.  Very simple installation which does not require an HVAC contractor.

Swimming Pools and Spas -- Cut chemical usage by 30-50+%, dramatically increase bacteria kill rate, improve water clarity, prevent algae and decrease overall maintenance.
